This is not just another small-town scandal. This is the story of Babylon Village, NY, a place where corruption runs deep, and those in power will do whatever it takes to silence anyone who stands in their way.
🔥 It Started with a Fight for Justice
Austin Kitt, a private citizen, uncovered what he believed to be serious fraud, selective enforcement, and backroom deals within the village government. Instead of being heard, he was met with lies, threats, and retaliation from those who were supposed to serve the people.
When he confronted the Babylon Village Building Department, he caught them in a blatant lie—they were protecting a contractor with deep political ties, Joe Pinola of ERJ Contracting. The secretary denied Joe Pinola was in the inspector’s office, even though Austin had just seen him walk in. When confronted, she doubled down.
Austin demanded answers. Instead, Mayor Mary Adams exploded, calling Austin “crazy” and screaming that he would never get a single dollar from Babylon Village.

Mayor Adams and her inner circle, including Town of Babylon Supervisor Richard Schaffer and attorney Lindsay Henry, have built a powerful, self-serving machine that operates through intimidation, deception, and manipulation. Their tactics include:
